Obama is a transcendant figure who does not play the politics of division. What Obama does is inspire a nation with solutions that look to spur the lower and middle class and help the U.S. regain respectability on an international stage.
Here is why I’m voting for Obama:
-He will provide anyone making less than $250k a tax cut and increase taxes on those making more than this amount. McCain will give less tax cuts to these folks and more to the wealthy.
-Obama is going to make health care affordable and mandatory for all children. McCain will tax health care and only provides a $5,000 tax credit–the average health insurance policy is over $10,000.
-Obama’s running mate is Joe Biden. A respectable and vetted VP candidate who has a strong record in supporting the middle class. McCain’s running mate is Sarah Palin. If you’ve seen her classic Katie Couric interviews, then you know why even Colin Powell thinks she is not ready to be President if something bad happens to the 72 year old, John McCain. McCain will probably not even be alive to witness how his policies impact the lives of our children.
-McCain has voted over 90% of the time with Bush. Obama opposed the Iraq war from the start and will bring the troops home as soon as possible.
-He’s our generation’s John F. Kennedy. He’s lived the quintessential American Dream and I would be proud of President Obama.
