By pointing a wiimote at a projection screen or LCD display, you can create very low-cost interactive whiteboards or tablet displays. Since the Wiimote can track upto 4 points, multiple pens can be used.
According to GameSpot…Wii Sports has been seen by many as a primary factor in the dramatic success of the Wii worldwide. In Japan, the only territory where it was not bundled with the console, over 2 million units of the mini-game compilation have been sold, according to research firm Media Create. According to a recent Financial Times report, Wii Sports’ accessibility has helped convince over 7 million non-traditional gamers purchase the Wii in other territories, making the console the best-selling “next-generation” machine.
Given the success of Wii Sports, one would assume a follow-up would be guaranteed. However, in a recent interview with the Japanese game blog 1101.com, Nintendo president and CEO Saturo Iwata announced that Wii Sports won’t come out anytime soon–if it comes out at all. “We’re not going to take such an easy way, not by including seven new sports in the game since Wii Sports has five,” he said. “We’re not closing our doors to the possibility of a sequel, but it’s definitely not coming out soon.” (more…)

From theSkinnyWebsite.com:
“There have been several stories and rumors over the past couple of years about the various ways Jessica Alba supposedly keeps her slim figure. Some people claim that she just doesn’t eat much of anything; some have said that she was/is on the Kimkins diet; I even posted a menu from a tabloid magazine of a diet she was rumored to be on.
The latest rumor is that Jessica shuns diets and personal trainers in favor of a Nintendo Wii workout. Unlike most computer and console games, the Wii offers a really good physical workout. For instance, a certain boxing game is said to burn around 560 calories per hour. Also, Nintendo Wii will be coming out with a new game called Wii Fit that will be like having an electronic personal trainer.
Ha. More than likely, this is just another marketing ploy to sell more games and systems. But you never know…”
Whether young or old, expert gamers or beginners, Wii players can now express themselves like never before — with intuitive motion control using the Wii Remote — a flick of the wrist to swing a baseball bat or tennis racket, a backswing and follow-through to send a golf ball flying over a pristine fairway. Wii Sports, packaged with the Wii console, introduces players to those and many other experiences.
The sleek Wii console, no larger than a stack of several DVD cases, includes a Wii Sports Game Disc (5 games: Baseball, Tennis, Golf, Bowling and Boxing), a sensor bar, a standard composite cable, a Wii stand, a Wii Remote and a Nunchuk for even more exciting game-control possibilities.
